Oman through our kids’ eyes

Both our girls travel with a small digital camera in their bags. We decided to give them one last Christmas, because we wanted to see what they see on our travels. They were still a bit reluctant to take pictures in the UK, but really started to enjoy being little photographers in Oman. And here’s a compact selection of their photographic artwork.

  1. Wow! We are really impressed with your photos. We love seeing the world through your eyes. Romantic Sophie giving us a glimpse of all the people and animals surrounding her and Lilly the artist who has an eye for structures and little things that go unseen. We are looking forward to the next edition. See you soon in Matara. Sylvia & Grossdädi Andy

  3. What a great idea to have S&L’s images put up. Some of them are truly excellent – both girls have an ‘eye’. Especially pleasing to see wonderful images thru ‘untrained’ eyes.

(i also noticed the rotated image – D just got there before me as I’ve been wasting time uploading my ‘gravatar’!! I wonder how many others have been manipulated?!)

    1. Hi Nigel.
Thanks for commenting on our post and appreciating the girls pictures. They are very happy about every compliment.
About the “manipulating” of the pictures: We try to interfere as little as possible. All the “manipulation” John did, was cropping them to squares – but under the surveillance of the girls. And when it came to the rotated image, Lilly spotted a cat’s face instantly and wanted to keep the pic rotated.
      Have a lovely day!
